Buckingham Palace is the headquarters of the United Kingdom’s monarchy. In addition to the palace, there are several other monuments to check out as well.
As you can see, the palace is far away from the gate.
The guards are far away as well.
Memorial Gates – commemorating the armed forces of the British Empire from five regions of the Indian subcontinent (India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka), as well as Africa and the Caribbean, who served for Britain in the First and Second World Wars.
Changing the Guard at Buckingham Palace – the ceremony where The Queen’s Guard hands over responsibility for protecting Buckingham Palace and St. James’s Palace to the New Guard.
