When you walk down the main canal of Murano, you’ll be surrounded by tourist trap restaurants selling expensive beer and average food. Don’t give in! Walk one block into the Murano canals to B Restaurant, and thank us later!
B Restaurant has several outdoor seats with umbrellas, and they fill up quickly. Michelle and I were one of three groups when we sat down, and there was a line of people waiting by the time we finished dinner.
They did an excellent job presenting their food, and it tasted just as great as well! We loved our dishes, while wishing we ordered everybody else’s as well. You won’t order everything you want unless you come with an army, but life could be worse than that!
Food in B Restaurant
B Restaurant had a great selection of appetizers, pastas, and entrees. Since we were only having lunch, Michelle and I stuck to two pastas.
We had their seafood busera, as well as the risotto. Most restaurants require that you order a risotto dish for each person at the table, which is a big commitment for tourists who wants to try multiple dishes. B Restaurant was the only restaurant we found which did not require this.
Although we skipped the entrees, they looked fantastic, and heard rave reviews from people sitting by us. B Restaurant’s specialty is their seabass, and they also offer dishes where you can try a little bit of everything. Check out this option if you have a bigger appetite!
B Ristorante – The Bottom Line
You’ll likely be craving a drink and snack after your boat ride to Murano. No matter how thirsty you are, skip the tourist traps and check out B Restaurant. The food is fantastic, the drinks are affordable, and you can still have a partial view of the canal!
Whatever you do, skip the tourist traps on the canal. These will typically be overpriced, and not serve traditional Italian food. We walked by one dish that had French fries, which might be a bigger Italian sin than Hawaiian pizza.
