Travel Bug For Two

Cabo – October 2017

Our first time in Cabo, and we decided to try an all-inclusive. We found an excellent deal at Secrets in San Jose del Cabo. The food was great, the drinks were well made, and the service was excellent.

Pro Tip

If you go as a couple, claim to be engaged, or at least live together.  Secrets wants to sell vacation packages to married or engaged couples, and will offer you a $500 voucher if you sit through their sales pitch. The pitch is roughly 4 hours (spoiler alert, it’s not a good deal), and they are polite once you turn them down. They won’t pressure you too hard.

Events

Arch of Cabo San Lucas – this is a must see, we recommend going on  a sunset cruise to appreciate the full beauty.

Barracuda Beach Bar – Excellent view of the Gulf of California

Restaurants

When you go all-inclusive, food quality is always a concern. Everything on site was fantastic, and we had a great experience outside of the venue as well.

Flora Farms – This is a must if you’re in San Jose del Cabo.

El Patio – Great Mexican food, we recommend the steak.

Portofino – Solid Italian food

Himitsu – Japanese food, this was our least favorite, feel free to skip it

Seaside Grill – Decent lunch spot, we recommend trying all of their ceviches
