Michelle and I hiked Waimea Canyon on March 5th, 2018 – after finding an incredible view, we put a GoPro on a rock…and then I proposed.
We’re excited to share this moment with all of you, and will keep you updated on our wedding.
The Ring
Rome partnered with Michelle’s friend Ali, who’s husband Nick makes custom jewelry in San Francisco.
Ali found a ring that Michelle liked, and used that as our inspiration.
The problem with this ring is that the diamond is assymetrical – one side is very long, while the other is very short. Nick and I waited until a symetrical stone arrived, and Nick found the perfect diamond.
With the diamond – Nick and I drew up our version of what Michelle liked. We lowered the bezel to give the diamond more shine, and added a couple little touches to make it our own.
After the personal touches were made, we had the final product ready for Michelle.
